Aurovalley está ubicado en los pies de los Himalayas, rodeado por el rio Ganges y el Parque Nacional Rajaji. Se ha establecido como un punto de encuentro para personas interesadas y dispuestas a encontrarse a sí mismos, por medio de la filosofía de Sri Aurobindo y La Madre, guiándolos para establecer un contacto más profundo con su alma y alcanzando así un nivel superior de conciencia.
Así, los cinco aspectos principales para una educación completa son: lo físico, lo vital/emocional, lo mental lo psíquico y lo espiritual. Nada se puede enseñar. La mente debe ser consultada a través de su propio crecimiento. Se debe trabajar desde lo cercano a lo lejano.
La manera en que nosotros, como arquitectos, traducimos éste sistema educativo a un concepto de proyecto es entendiendo que todos estos aspectos y principios están directamente relacionados a las características múltiples y dinámicas del TIEMPO. Ningún nivel superior de conciencia o enriquecimiento de facultadas personales pueden alcanzarse si se condicionan por lo inmediato. Es por esto que el tiempo debe tomar su propio curso y hacerse entender a través de los procesos educativos de un grupo o individuo.
En éste sentido, todo, desde el color al crecimiento; desde las temporadas a la madurez; o desde las sombras hasta los reflejos, están determinados por el tiempo. Y la parte más interesante para nosotros es que la mezcla de todos estos elementos producen escenarios espaciales diferentes y dinámicos que pueden nutrir tanto mente, como cuerpo y alma de un individuo de manera inconsciente.
Aurovalley is located in the foothills of the Himalayas and it is surrounded by the Ganges river and the Rajaji National Park. It has been understood as a gathering point for people who are interested and are willing to find themselves, through the philosophy of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, guiding them to establish a deeper contact with their soul and reaching a higher level of consciousness.
Thus, the five principal aspects of a completeeducation are: Physical, Vital/Emotional, Mental, Psychic, Spiritual. Nothing can be taught. The mind has to be consulted in its own growth. Work from the near to the far.
The way we, as architects, translate this educational system into a project concept is by understanding that all these aspects and principles are directly related to the multiple and dynamic aspects of TIME. No higher level of consciousness nor the enrichment of personal existing faculties can be achieved if conditioned by immediatness. This is why time needs to take its own course and make itself clear throughout the entire educational process of any group or individual.
In this sense, everything, from color to growth, from seasons to maturity, or from shadows to reflections are determined by time. And the most interesting part, and the most rewarding for us, is that the mixture of all of these elements produce different and dynamic spatial scenarios that may unconsciouslly, nurture the mind. body and soul of an individual.
